Long Beach, if you’ve been looking something exceptional, peel your eyes on this! How about an evening jam-packed with some of the most popular music today, up for grabs? Toto, Christopher Cross & The Romantics are coming to the Long Beach Amphitheater on Friday, 14th August 2026!
This is a chance to catch some of the greatest singers of an entire era taking the stage together. You know how, at some shows, you can kind of gloss over certain opening acts. No offense to the up-and-comers who are hitting the road, but sometimes that's just how it goes. At this one, the "opening acts" are multi-time Grammy winners. Toto will be taking their hits to Long Beach, California on Friday, August 14th, 2026 as part of their North America Summer Tour 2026. The triple-bill also features Christopher Cross and The Romantics and will be performed at the Long Beach Amphitheater. This concert promises to be an EPIC night of timeless rock and fun as hundreds of thousands of musical enthusiasts from around the world join in the sing-alongs to hit songs from the 70s and early 80s at Long Beach, CA’s capacity amphitheater.
Hit after hit of Toto's classic rock, pop and jazz favorites that brought superstar fame to the band throughout America. “Rosanna” and all the other hits that have made Toto fans around the world, sing along to their many hit songs. Their 2015 release, Toto XIV, is another example of the band’s long lasting ability to write and record great music. 8 Grammy Awards including Album of the Year for Rosanna. No one knows the songs better than the band that wrote and recorded them. We are equally impressed by the sheer skill of these topflight virtuosos as they render these intricate fingered studies with amazing facility.
Join us for a musical trip down memory lane as we feature the band performing some of the greatest musical soft rock of the early 1980s. Christopher Cross made appearances throughout the evening performing his hit song “Arthur’s Theme” and guests were welcome to join in at any time. Known as the king of yacht rock, Mr. Cross’s first album “Christopher Cross” is a work of art, and though his output of new albums has slowed, his 2017 release “Take Me As I Am” is another testament to his enduring artistry. This honor is reserved for only five artists that have won all four top honor Grammy Awards for song of the year, album of the year, record of the year, and best producer in a single year, which Mr. Cross accomplished in 1980. His music provides the perfect ambiance for guests to pause, reflect on the evening, and appreciate the campus of ETSU.
Check out The Romantics on “Talking in Your Sleep” at the amphitheater. Awesome. The band is known for their striking red leather uniforms and end all out stage presence. The Michigan band released their debut album “Romantics” in 1978. The singles from that album have remained fan favorites for generations and inspired new ones. Later releases continued to show the band were pioneers of the new wave sound.
The Long Beach Amphitheater is located in the heart of Long Beach, California, and is easily accessible from most areas.
